At Diocesan School for Girls, we are dedicated to nurturing young women who are curious, courageous, and empowered to shape their futures.

We are seeking inspiring and committed Junior School and Senior School teachers to join our exceptional teaching team for 2026.  You’ll have the opportunity to shape student learning in a supportive, well-resourced, and future-focused environment — where ideas are valued, wellbeing is prioritised, and excellence is a shared goal.

You will be:

•    Passionate about inspiring learners and helping every student reach their potential
•    Confident teaching either Years 0 – 6 (Junior School) or Years 7 to 13
•    A New Zealand registered teacher with a current Practicing Certificate and valid work rights for NZ
•    Committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
•    Available to start in Term 1, 2026

In the Senior School we offer students dual qualification pathways with both NCEA and the International Baccalaureate. The Junior School is delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP).  IB teaching experience is welcomed, but training and support will be provided for those new to the programme.
