Diocesan School for Girls is seeking an experienced and future-focused Director of Learning Technologies to provide strategic and academic leadership in the integration of digital technologies across teaching and learning. Reporting to the Deputy Principal – Senior School, this role works closely with senior leaders, Heads of Faculty, teachers, students, and our Information Systems team to ensure digital platforms, systems, and practices align with the School’s strategic intent, curriculum priorities, and best practice in contemporary education. The ideal candidate will start mid-year in our academic year.
This is a teaching position, with a 24-period time allowance to fulfil the leadership and strategic responsibilities of the role. Remuneration includes a base salary in line with your salary step, plus an additional leadership allowance of 4MU. The Director of Learning Technologies leads digital curriculum integration across Years 7–13, oversees the academic use of key systems such as the LMS and SIS, and drives professional learning to build staff capability and confidence. The role also plays a key advisory function, supporting leaders and staff to balance innovation with usability, safety, and security, while managing resources and budgets related to teaching and learning technologies.
