You will be taking on the role of EE Coordinator, providing pedagogical leadership and overseeing the successful delivery of the Extended Essay programme.
The EE Coordinator is responsible for the leadership, organisation, and successful execution of the Extended Essay component of the IB Diploma Programme. Working closely with the IBDP Coordinator, you will ensure students are well-supported throughout the research process and that all requirements of the International Baccalaureate are met. There is a two-period time allowance with this role.
Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
• Establishing and managing a clear internal timeline for reflections, drafts, and final submissions
• Delivering workshops on research methodology, academic integrity, and effective use of the Research Process Portfolio (RPPF), with a strong “lead-in” programme at Dio
• Supporting and guiding students through all stages of the Extended Essay
• Training and supporting staff supervisors to ensure consistency and understanding of assessment requirements
• Managing the submission of all final essays and RPPFs to the IB Information System (IBIS) in line with global deadlines
Desired Skills and Experience

• Proven ability to lead programmes and support both students and staff
