We’re seeking a capable and reliable Campus Maintenance Technician to join our Campus team, helping us deliver the high standards and care we’re known for.
Job Description
Mō te tūranga: About the role
• Keep our campus running smoothly — carrying out planned preventative maintenance, inspections, and prompt repairs across buildings, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general facilities.
• Ensure a safe, compliant environment — completing all work to Health & Safety and building code standards, maintaining accurate records, and managing tools, parts, and equipment inventory.
• Collaborate to get things done — working alongside a dedicated campus team, contractors, and suppliers to deliver reliable facilities services across the campus.
• Bring a positive, proactive, and inclusive mindset to your daily work
Desired Skills and Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role or related field such as building or facilities maintenance, construction, or trade environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Sound knowledge of building maintenance systems and repair techniques
• Organisation, and time management skills
• The ability to work collaboratively with good communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to continuous improvement and high standards
• Physically fit and capable of undertaking manual tasks including lifting, climbing ladders, and working in varied environments
