We are looking for a Teacher Aide / Support Teacher to join our Learning Support Faculty (Wairoa) - a very inclusive and supportive team.
You will inspire and guide neurodiverse students. You need not be a qualified teacher, but someone who is sympathetic to the needs of our learners, with a flexible approach and the ability to build positive relationships.
Job Description
Mō te tūranga: About the role
● Work within the Learning Support Faculty (Wairoa), supporting neurodiverse students in years 7-13 across all curriculum areas
● Build positive, trusting relationships with students, adapting your approach flexibly to meet a wide range of learning needs
● This is a 12-month fixed-term position, starting at the beginning of Term 1, 2027
● Your ordinary hours of work are 32.5 hours per week, to be carried out between the hours of 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday, school term only
