Mō te tūranga: About the role
Situated within our Junior School, our Foundation Class is licensed for 40 children. We deliver a varied, inspiring programme through the inquiry-based PYP framework alongside Te Whāriki, in a safe, nurturing space that's a haven for engagement, exploration, and meaningful learning.
Our Junior School is an IB World School delivering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) where inquiry and conceptually learning flourishes. A variety of specialist classes enhance the weekly programme and allows our students to be more than they every imagined.
Desired Skills and Experience
You will be:
• Passionate about inspiring learners to grow, thrive, and reach their potential
• Confident teaching students from the age of 3
• Committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Available to start in Term 1, 2027
• Working within school term dates, 7.30am start

• A registered Teacher with the New Zealand Teaching Council (ECE)
• Experience teaching in a New Zealand early childhood setting or school
• A strong team player with a positive, enthusiastic and motivated approach
